We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who has a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, a high level of interpersonal skills and a desire to gain further specialised clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to a career in aged care.
This is a Permanent part-time (4 days a week) opportunity, based in Eileen Armstrong House, Woonona. This role offers a great opportunity to be exposed to a diverse caseload and would suit a clinician who has a broad skills base and enjoys working within a Residential Aged Care environment. You will be working with clients of functional / musculoskeletal based assessment, acute rehabilitation, chronic disease management, improving mobility and function, falls prevention and management, chronic pain management, subacute rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation and contributing to improving organisation processes and staff training.
About you:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- 2 years physio experience, experience in aged care or community is desirable
- Previous experience in assessing & treating a diverse population (acute, subacute, geriatric, palliative care) and a commitment to the delivery of evidence-based practice in this population.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills, robust focus on customer service.
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
