About the Prospect

Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking passionate midwives to join our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). Midwifery Group Practices a continuity of care model where patient care is provided by a small team of dedicated midwives who partner with women to support their entire pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. Patients participating in this care model have a primary midwife who they see for the majority of their care.

To be a Registered Midwife in the MGP you will share the view that pregnancy and childbirth is a normal, natural life event and the dedicated care you provide reflects this philosophy.

As a registered midwife within MGP, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering safe, high quality, person centred care in line with professional standards, policies and evidence based practice
- Assessing patient needs and developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care, adapting practice to suit a rural health environment
- Collaborating and partnering closely with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic, community-focused care




- Building strong relationships with patients, families and the local community to support continuity of care
