AIEW position (2 days per week) This position is to support Aboriginal and Islander students from Transiton to Year 6 and the focus will be in the three main areas of home and community liaison and engagement, input into teacher and school resources and student support.
Educational Requirements High level of literacy and numeracy
Working towards a relevant education qualification/ or the desire to start
Essential Criteria Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the school
Current Ochre card (or ability to obtain one)
Strong indigenous cultural knowledge
Ability to build positive working relationships with students, staff, families and the wider community
Demonstrated robust work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
