About the Role Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and light commercial air conditioning systems throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.This is a diverse role offering an excellent mix of installation projects,



preventative maintenance and technical fault-finding.You will work on leading brands including Daikin, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Samsung, Carrier and LG.

Key Responsibilities****Installation & Commissioning

- Install split, multi-split, ducted and light commercial air conditioning systems
- Install refrigeration pipework, ductwork and associated fittings
- Pressure test refrigeration pipework
- Evacuate refrigeration systems prior to commissioning
- Install wall controllers, zone dampers, supply air outlets and return air grilles
- Wire indoor and outdoor units where required
- Charge systems with refrigerant
- Commission equipment to manufacturer specifications
- Verify system performance and complete commissioning documentation

Service & Preventative Maintenance

- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Inspect filters, ductwork, drains and system components
- Test airflow, temperatures and refrigerant pressures
- Inspect electrical components and controls
- Identify potential issues before they become major faults
- Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records
- Provide customers with professional maintenance advice

Breakdown Diagnosis & Repairs

- Diagnose faults across a broad range of HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical issues
- Replace compressors, contactors, relays, capacitors, sensors, PCBs and other components
- Recover and recharge refrigerant
- Pressure test refrigeration systems
- Complete refrigeration pipework repairs, including brazing, soldering and flaring




- Restore systems safely and efficiently to full operational performance

Customer Service

- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Maintain a skilled appearance and high standard of workmanship
- Complete all documentation accurately and professionally

About You

- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Strong installation and commissioning experience
- Proven servicing and maintenance experience
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, qualified and positive attitude
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
- Experience with Daikin, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Samsung, Carrier, LG or similar brands will be highly regarded
- For Australian applicants: ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence, White Card and driver's licence are desirable
