About the Role

As a Air Conditioning Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality installation, servicing and maintenance of domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. We're happy to hear from technicians interested in:

- Installation-only roles
- Service-only roles
- A combination of both

Key Responsibilities





Installation, Service & Repairs

- Install, service and repair domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and company quality requirements.

Customer Service Excellence

- Deliver outstanding customer service on every job.
- Clearly explain system operation, maintenance requirements and recommended solutions.
- Build lasting relationships through professionalism and quality workmanship.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with the Air Conditioning Manager and Service Coordinator to deliver efficient scheduling and exceptional service.
- Support apprentices and junior technicians through mentoring and on-the-job training.
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

- Trade qualification as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician or Electrician with a Split Air Conditioning Ticket (UEE20120 Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems)
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- White Card (preferred)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence

Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience in refrigeration and air conditioning
- Experience with domestic air conditioning installations and servicing
- Experience with light commercial systems is advantageous

Skills

- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills for reporting and job documentation
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
