About the Role

As the Retail Manager , you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operation of the store, leading your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while ensuring strong operational performance.

We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for retail, a positive attitude, and strong leadership skills. An interest in health and wellness is highly regarded, along with a willingness to continually learn about our extensive product range.

Experience in the Following Areas is Desirable

- Health food retail

- Fresh produce

- Stock control and inventory management

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Store Operations & Inventory

- Ordering and managing stock, including fresh produce, chilled and frozen products

- Ordering store supplies

- Managing catalogue and promotional orders

- Overseeing stocktakes and inventory control

- Pricing and data maintenance

- Managing supplier credits and invoice processing

- Exception reporting and administrative tasks

Merchandising & Sales

- Coordinating catalogue activities and promotional execution

- Maintaining high merchandising and presentation standards

- Managing out-of-date stock procedures

- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Leadership & People Management

- Staff recruitment, onboarding, and training

- Managing rosters and wages

- Supporting HR processes

- Creating a positive, high-performing team culture

- Coaching and developing team members

Customer Experience

- Delivering exceptional customer service

- Providing product guidance and support

- Ensuring customers receive a welcoming and engaging shopping experience

Administration

- Managing the store inbox

- Banking and cash handling

- Reporting and general store administration
