About Aqua Park Coolum

Aqua Park Coolum is one of the Sunshine Coast’s favourite outdoor water attractions. We’re all about fun, fitness and creating memorable experiences for families, groups and thrill-seekers.

We’re looking for friendly, energetic and reliable people to join our team for the busy summer season. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team where every day brings energy, sunshine, and smiles.

We are recruiting for three separate positions:

1. Aqua Park Water Attendant

2. Aqua Park Kiosk Attendant

3. Aqua Park Café Attendant

1. Aqua Park Water Attendant

This is an active outdoor role helping guests enjoy a safe, fun and memorable experience on the water.

Key responsibilities:

- Supervising guests on and around the Aqua Park

- Monitoring guest safety and responding quickly when assistance is required

- Helping guests enter and exit the water safely

- Explaining park rules and encouraging safe behaviour

- Assisting guests with life jackets and other equipment

- Providing friendly and professional customer service

- Helping with the opening, closing and general upkeep of the Aqua Park

What you’ll bring:

- Strong and confident swimming ability
- A high level of awareness and commitment to safety
- A friendly, energetic and professional attitude

- Maturity, reliability and confidence working with children and families

- Ability to remain alert while working outdoors in summer conditions

- Experience in aquatic recreation, surf lifesaving or outdoor activities (advantageous)

- A current First Aid Certificate, CPR and Bronze Medallion (highly regarded)

2. Aqua Park Kiosk Attendant

Our Kiosk Attendants are often the first people our guests meet.



You’ll help provide an efficient and welcoming experience from arrival through to entry onto the Aqua Park.

Key responsibilities:

- Welcoming guests and providing friendly customer service

- Checking bookings and processing admissions

- Taking payments and operating the point-of-sale system

- Answering questions about sessions, activities and park rules

- Assisting guests with waivers, wristbands and life jackets

- Managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries

- Keeping the kiosk, reception and surrounding areas clean and organised

- Assisting with general duties during busy periods

What you’ll bring:

- A warm, confident and helpful manner

- Solid communication and customer service skills

- Good organisation and attention to detail

- Confidence handling payments and using computer-based booking systems

- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy periods

- Previous reception, retail, tourism or customer service experience (advantageous)

3. Aqua Park Café Attendant

Our Café Attendants help keep guests refreshed by providing friendly service and preparing simple food and drinks.

Key responsibilities:

- Taking customer orders and processing payments

- Preparing and serving drinks, snacks and simple café meals

- Making coffee and other beverages

- Restocking food, drinks and supplies

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

- Cleaning tables, benches, equipment and café areas

- Providing fast and friendly service during busy periods

- Assisting with opening and closing duties

What you’ll bring:

- A friendly and positive attitude





- Good customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety

- Previous café, hospitality or food service experience (advantageous)

- Barista experience and a Food Safety Certificate (highly regarded)
