About the role

Alzahra Academy Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Arabic Teachers to join our primary education team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' language development and cultural understanding. Based in Wollert VIC 3750, this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction to primary students, fostering their communication skills, cultural awareness, and love for the Arabic language.

What you'll be doing

- Planning and delivering engaging Arabic language lessons to primary-aged students, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources
- Developing curriculum-aligned lesson plans that cater to different learning levels and abilities within the classroom
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their language development
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and builds confidence
- Incorporating cultural education into lessons to help students understand and appreciate Arabic-speaking cultures
- Collaborating with colleagues to support the broader educational objectives of the academy
- Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress and achievement
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and language development

What we're looking for

- Qualification in Teaching or relevant tertiary qualification with specialisation in Arabic language instruction
- Current registration with the relevant teaching regulatory body (or eligibility to register)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Arabic language (written and spoken)
- Experience teaching Arabic to primary-aged students in an educational setting




- Strong knowledge of primary education curricula and age-appropriate teaching methodologies
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
- Passionate commitment to supporting student learning and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
- Flexibility and adaptability to part-time scheduling requirements

Preferred experience includes knowledge of Islamic education principles, experience in multicultural educational settings, and familiarity with educational technology tools. What we offer
