We are currently hiring for a Leading Hand for the sheet metal department who is keen to join our team of highly-skilled tradespeople and wants to work in an environment where they are recognised and rewarded for their work.

We are one of Australia's premier manufacturers of detailed architectural and bespoke metalwork - we work with all metals and pride ourselves on helping create beautiful spaces with amazing finishes.

- Standard 38 hour week 7am- 3:30pm (Mon-Thurs) 7am-1pm (Friday) with the occasional overtime
- Factory based role with occasional site work

Machines you will be using:




- Durma Pressbreak, with Cybelec 15T controller – this is 80% of the role, with the remaining 20% split between
- Curving Rolls 2.4 metres long
- Magnabend
- Panbreak

Required capabilities around programming:
- Program folds
- Make fold adjustments
- Translate substrate measurements into folding programs

Leading Hand responsibilities:
- Ability to work independently or lead a small team of 2+ staff.
- Manage several jobs running in parallel with different timing and priorities, communicate job progress and updates to your Production Manager.
- 80% Hands on work / 20% Management and Leadership.
