Our client is seeking a casual staff member for a temporary light assembly role located in Braeside. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and build your skills in manufacturing and assembly.

About the Role You will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components, performing quality checks, and meeting daily production targets. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work 5 days per week are essential. Experience using power tools will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies and finished products to meet quality and quantity targets
- Complete ‘stock build’ orders from templates
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Communicate effectively with team members and management (written and verbal)
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping
- Keep tools and instruments in safe and designated locations
- Follow quality policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on stock levels of components
- Follow all OH&S; and WorkSafe guidelines
- Read and understand work instructions for tasks
About You
- Previous experience in light manufacturing or assembly work
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Physically fit for manual tasks
- Full Australian working rights
