The Asset Finance

Broker will be starting from scratch and be expected to build your own portfolio of clients and refferal partners. Day day to day will be dealing with business clients, assessing their needs and structuring suitable asset finance solutions for equipment, vehicles, and other commercial assets. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial information, preparing and submitting finance applications, liaising with lenders, and following up to ensure timely approvals and settlements.





The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing clear explanations of finance options, and ensuring a high standard of compliance and documentation. The broker will also contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, networking, and supporting marketing activities to grow the client base.

Qualifications

Experience in asset finance, commercial lending, or brokerage, with strong skills in assessing business finance needs and structuring suitable solutions.

Ability to analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit profiles, and to prepare accurate, compliant finance applications and documentation.

Strong relationship-building, client service, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex finance concepts in clear, accessible language.

Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple deals, meeting deadlines, and maintaining detailed records.

Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems, and willingness to learn lender platforms and online application processes.

Proactive approach to business development, including networking, following up leads, and supporting marketing efforts to grow the client portfolio.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with colleagues based in the Brisabne office and working independently from home.

Relevant qualifications in finance, business, commerce, or a related field are beneficial; prior experience in commercial or equipment finance in Australia is highly regarded.
