About the Role
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team across the Liverpool, St George and Macarthur regions .
This role involves providing person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and the community. Supports may include:
- Community access and social participation
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Domestic assistance
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Medication assistance (where appropriately trained)
- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
- Accurate documentation and progress notes
We are looking for support workers who are committed to building long-term relationships with participants and can maintain consistent, ongoing rosters rather than accepting occasional one-off shifts.
About You
You are someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and qualified
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is passionate about supporting people with disability
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is flexible and committed to providing consistent support
- Understands the importance of participant choice, dignity and independence
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability support, mental health, aged care or a related support role
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Knowledge of the NSW Disability Standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends where required
Preferred
- Current National Police Check
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs, mental health or challenging behaviours
