Assistant Practice Manager – Psychology Clinic

About Us The Relationship Room is a growing psychology clinic providing high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Assistant Practice Manager to support our clinic operations and continued growth.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Practice Manager to join our leadership team and support the Practice Manager in the day-to-day operations of our clinics located in Balmain East, Mosman and Woollahra.

This unique opportunity will support the best candidate in advancing their leadership and management career in the healthcare industry. This role will support key operational functions including reporting, financial administration, systems management, and process improvement. You will work closely alongside our Practice Manager and have set daily/weekly tasks. The role includes 30 hours per week on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage clinic reporting and performance data
- Support accounting processes including invoicing, reconciliations, and financial tracking, forecasting & budgeting




- Manage practice management systems including Zanda (or similar software)
- Support billing, administration, and day-to-day clinic operations
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to optimise clinic performance

About You You are highly organised, proactive, and meticulous, with strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining efficient systems.

Essential requirements:

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in allied health and/or medical settings (psychology preferred)
- Experience with Zanda or similar practice management software
- Strong reporting, administration, and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Robust leadership skills and exposure to people management within the health industry
- Flexibility to work across 3 clinic locations (Mosman, Balmain East and/or Woollahra)
