The Opportunity:
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated driving professional to join the team at our Wingfield depot. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for performing local and regional work on a full-time basis and be part of a supportive and team-oriented team.
Please note that hours may vary for this role as required by customer operational demands, and may require overnight trips, weekend work and Public Holidays.
You will:
- Loading, transporting and unloading bulk petroleum products at retail and depot sites throughout South Australia in a safe and professional manner
- Drive multiple vehicles, including single, b-double combinations
- Adhere to safety and compliance policies and procedures
- Ensure fleet presentation is well organised
- Follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
What you’ll bring:
Relevant truck licenses and driving experience, but more importantly an open mind to learn the K&S; way, and desire to become a reliable member of the team.
You will have:
- Previous on road experience operating a HC truck, (MC can be considered)
- Prior experience in retail fuel, desirable
- BFM desirable but not essential
- Dangerous goods license
- Safe loading pass (SLP)
- Knowledge of the local and country road network - preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail, meticulous about fleet presentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
