Trades Assistant – Manufacturing | South Windsor

South Windsor, NSW | Immediate Start | Ongoing Full-Time Hours | Monday - Friday

Join our client's growing manufacturing team in South Windsor and play a key role in building large-scale water filtration systems that support the water treatment industry.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Trade Assistant, you'll be responsible for assembling large water filtration arrays within a modern manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with tools, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and has a solid focus on safety and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble large-scale water filtration systems and components




- Read and interpret drawings, schematics and assembly plans
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the workshop
- Assist with overhead crane operations (experience highly regarded)
- Wear respirators and other required PPE when necessary
- Follow work instructions and production schedules
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- A current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Confidence using hand tools and power tools
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions
- The ability to wear respirators when required
- Experience operating overhead cranes (advantageous)
- A trade qualification or mechanical background (highly regarded)
