Auto Electrician – Pinjarra Workshop Local Workshop Position | Home Every Night

Performance Mining is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our growing Pinjarra workshop team. This is a full time local role offering consistent Monday to Friday, competitive rates, a new high-spec field service vehicle with fuel card, bonuses and long-term stability.

While primarily workshop-based, the role will also involve occasional rapid response breakdown and field service work as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs across heavy mobile plant
- Preventative maintenance, inspections and electrical repairs
- Breakdown diagnosis and response as required
- Competent use of scan tools,



OEM diagnostic software and computer-based fault-finding systems
- Electrical installations, wiring repairs and automotive air conditioning repairs
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and statutory requirements
- Provide clear technical feedback to supervisors, operations teams and clients
- Work professionally across workshop and field environments when required

About You

- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Proven experience working on major OEM heavy mobile plant (CAT and Komatsu essential)
- Strong communication skills and professional client-facing attitude
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (HR preferred)
- Auto Electrical Trade Qualification - HME experience essential
- Automotive Air Conditioning Licence (ARC)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance
