Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking motivated 1st to 4th Year Auto Electrical Apprentices to join one of our host employers in Mascot, NSW. You'll gain hands-on experience in a skilled workshop while completing or continuing your AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

Whether you're just starting your apprenticeship or looking to continue with a new host employer, you'll work alongside experienced Auto Electricians while developing valuable industry skills.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside qualified Auto Electricians, you'll learn to:
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical and electronic faults.
- Install, test and repair vehicle wiring,



lighting and electrical systems.
- Service and maintain starting, charging and ignition systems.
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning and climate control systems (where applicable).
- Use modern diagnostic scan tools and specialised testing equipment.
- Fit and repair accessories including alarms, reverse cameras, UHF radios and other electrical components.
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Support workshop operations while developing your technical skills.

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to a long-term career in the automotive industry. To be successful, you'll have:
- A genuine passion for automotive electrical technology.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A current driver's licence (P1 or above preferred).
- For 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year applicants: Evidence of current apprenticeship progression and relevant workplace experience.
