In this role, you'll:
Working as an Automation Tester, you will largely be responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts and system workflows, using the team’s automation framework. You will understand new features, review requirements, and translate them into automated test scenarios, and test coverage. Other duties &
responsibilities will include (not limited to): Framework improvement and tooling - Enhancing the automation framework, improving test reliability, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining test infrastructure
Test execution, analysis, and defect reporting - Running automated test suites, analysing failures, identifying defects, and working with developers to resolve issues
Collaboration and technical discussions - Participating in sprint planning, design discussions, and working closely with developers, product teams, and manual testers to ensure testability and quality For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack About You:
For you to be really successful in this role, we believe you should meet all of the following criteria: At least 2+ years experience performing in a similar role, as described above
Solid experience in UI automation An engineering, and/or computer science qualification
Understanding, and/or a background within an Agile working environment
Background within embedded systems
Solid software architecture, and automation framework understanding Nice to Haves: Strong C++/C# background, with a proven ability to read and understand development code
Prior employment within the telecommunications sector
Java, Python, and/or similar languages This is a fixed-term flexible hybrid role until 30th of November 2027. 50% of your time will be office based, typically based from our offices in the CBD. This is a Grade 6 role, $111,625.00 - $122,786.00 + super. Who we are
