About the role

We are seeking a Bar & Beverage Staff member to join our team on a casual basis at our Terara location. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards Terrara House is known for. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all our patrons.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and serving beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with accuracy and flair

- Providing friendly, efficient and attentive service to customers at the bar and throughout the venue

- Maintaining the bar area to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization

- Stocking and rotating beverages, glassware and bar supplies throughout service

- Following responsible service of alcohol practices and adhering to all liquor licensing laws

- Suggesting beverages and menu items to enhance customer experience





- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during busy periods

- Setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a bar, pub or hospitality environment is highly desirable but not essential

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse guests

- Physical fitness and stamina to work standing for extended periods in a busy environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to casual work commitments

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
- A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain one

- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
