Our Town Fencing is looking for a motivated leader to join our Manager in Training program. If you've worked as a 2IC, Team Leader, Supervisor, Department Manager or Coordinator and are ready for more responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Working alongside an experienced Store Manager, you'll gain hands‑on experience across sales, customer service, operations and team leadership while building the skills needed to progress into Store Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and store targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone.
- Generate current business opportunities and build customer relationships.
- Assist with store operations including stock handling, order preparation and housekeeping.
- Help maintain store presentation, safety and operational standards.
- Lead by example and contribute to a high-performing team culture.

About You

- 2+ years' experience in retail, trade or customer service.
- Leadership experience in a 2IC, Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role.




- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience working toward KPIs and sales targets.
- Sound computer and stock management skills.
- Physically capable of warehouse duties including packing and loading.
- Current driver's licence.
- Forklift licence highly regarded.
