Purpose of role:

Senior technical leader responsible for governing and advancing AMP’s Appian platform capability, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes through strong design governance, code quality, and release management. The role provides end-to-end technical leadership across solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing workflow solutions aligned to business objectives.

The role drives engineering standards, architecture patterns, and best practices while overseeing integration design, testing strategies, and quality assurance across the platform. It leads incident triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, resilience, and performance. Working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams, the role ensures effective translation of requirements into scalable solutions, supports Agile delivery practices, and maintains solid alignment across digital and integrated platforms.





Engineering Governance & Quality

- oLead design (LLD) and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standardsand best practices
- oDefine and enforce Appian architecture patterns, reusable components, anddesign governance frameworks
- oDrive engineering quality, consistency, and maintainability across solutions

Delivery & Release Governance

- oOwn release governance, including deployment approvals, production readiness,and risk management
- oEnsure all solutions meet defined quality gates across SIT, UAT, and productionreadiness
- oOversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support)

Platform Stability & Support

- oLead incident triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
- oDrive improvements in platform stability, reliability, and operational processes
- oEnsure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements

Experience and qualifications required

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in Appian development
- Strong expertise in Appian BPM (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Interfaces)
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), SQL, and data modelling
- Proven experience in code reviews, design governance, and release management
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and production support models
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive technical outcomes
