We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to join Alfagomma Australia in Tomago, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring optimal stock management, accurate order fulfilment, and the safety and productivity of your team. This role is instrumental in supporting our supply chain objectives and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.

Key responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing direction, training and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies
- Optimise warehouse layouts and processes to maximise efficiency, reduce costs and improve operational performance
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working setting and minimising workplace incidents
- Manage warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for warehouse operations
- Monitor and control warehouse expenses, including labour costs, equipment maintenance and utilities
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and metrics





What we are looking for

- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar senior warehouse role within a manufacturing, distribution or logistics environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control and order fulfilment processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations, including forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff at all levels
- A valid driver's licence and reliability in attendance and punctuality
- Relevant qualifications in warehouse management, logistics or supply chain management are advantageous
