About the Role Working across a variety of local mining and industrial clients, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and breakdown work while maintaining KFI's high standards of safety and workmanship.
Depending on your trade, duties may include:
Boilermakers
- Structural and heavy fabrication
- Welding and repairs on mobile and fixed plant
- General maintenance and shutdown work
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Drill Fitters
- Maintenance and repairs to drill rigs and associated equipment
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Breakdown diagnosis and fault finding
- Maintaining accurate service records
What You'll Need
- Australian recognized Trade Certificate
- Current Driver's License
- Construction White Card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
