Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with recent Xero and payroll experience? Our client, based in Scoresby, is seeking a temporary Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to provide coverage during an employee's extended leave period from 17 August to 2 October.

This hybrid opportunity offers approximately 25-30 hours per week and the chance to join a friendly, down-to-earth team supporting a variety of sporting and community-based organisations. Training and handover will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Processing payroll and leave requests
- Paying bills and managing accounts payable
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Raising sales invoices
- Managing client inboxes and responding to enquiries
- Providing bookkeeping support across two client accounts
- Maintaining accurate records in Xero
Your Profile





- Recent Xero experience (must have used Xero within the last 6-12 months)
- Payroll processing experience
- Strong bookkeeping background
- Experience with invoices, reconciliations and accounts payable
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Hybrid role based in Scoresby
- Approximately 25-30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Coverage period: 17 August to 2 October
