About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Store Person to support our Ingleburn branch and main distribution center in NSW. This is a varied role, and no two days will be the same as you work alongside our warehouse team to provide timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service delivering orders to customer on site.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are definitely not limited to:
- Picking & packing of orders including courier and transport documentation.
- Receipting and storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.
- Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area
- Delivery of customer orders.
- Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods
- Operate computer software to locate stock codes, check purchase orders, track back orders, locate and track stock movements and transfers
- Work closely with our sales and operations team to ensure timely collection of products and services.
- Assist the Branch Manager with periodic stock checks.
About you:
Ideally,
you will have proven experience in customer service and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Along with experience in these areas you will:
- Be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Knowledge of the building and construction industry would be an asset.
- Be highly motivated to continually exceed our customers' expectations, support company driven initiatives, and become an integral part of our team.
- Must have a current forklift licence;
- Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence;
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude along with a strong work ethic;
- Be well presented, self-motivated and willing to learn and develop new skills;
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Participate as a willing and productive member of the team.
