About the role

ConX Hire is seeking suitable candidates for a role that we currently have as Branch Manager in couple of depots in South east Melbourne. This is a full time position. As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing team operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all equipment hire services. This role is pivotal to achieving our branch targets and maintaining ConX Hire's reputation for service excellence in the equipment hire industry.

What you'll be doing

- Leading and managing the branch team, including recruitment, training, performance management and staff development
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve branch revenue targets and business growth objectives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities
- Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance and customer service standards
- Managing branch finances, budgeting and profit and loss accountability
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations and industry standards
- Analysing sales performance metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Representing ConX Hire at industry events and within the local community to enhance brand visibility
- Monitoring customer feedback and addressing concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in equipment hire sales management or a similar management role within the sales industry
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a branch or regional environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships
- Knowledge of the equipment hire industry, including equipment types,



safety regulations and market trends
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and profit management
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Full clean driving licence is desirable
