Our NSW Building Services team works across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and ESD on some of Sydney's most recognisable commercial, residential and government projects. This role leads that team. You bring the disciplines together into one connected, high-performing group and set the standard for how we deliver for clients across the state. It is a genuine leadership seat with real influence over growth, quality and reputation in a competitive market.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Building Services team across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and ESD. Own delivery quality, utilisation and commercial performance for the department. Build and hold strong client relationships with developers, architects, builders.

Win and grow work by turning technical strength into commercial outcomes. Coach and mentor engineers, build capability and strengthen succession depth. Partner with the GM NSW and national Building Services leaders to align strategy and standards.

Day to day

Set priorities and workload across the disciplines and keep delivery on track.Review technical output and make sure it meets Intrax quality and compliance standards.Meet with clients, scope new work and support fee proposals.Support engineers through problem solving, design decisions and career conversations.Keep a clear line of sight on project financials, resourcing and risk.

You may

Come from a consultancy, client-side or contractor background in building services or MEP.Have led a single discipline and be ready to step up across a full integrated team.Bring deep expertise in one discipline and strong commercial instincts across the rest.

What you bring

Significant experience in building services or MEP consultancy,



ideally in the Australian built environment.Proven leadership of engineering teams, with a style that builds trust and accountability.Strong commercial and business development capability, with a track record of winning and delivering work.Relevant engineering qualifications and qualified registration (CPEng or working towards).Clear communication and the judgement to balance client, quality and commercial outcomes.
