- Short Hours: Work just 2 hours per day during school terms (Monday to Friday).
- Never Alone: A fully trained educator will always travel with you on the bus to manage the children.

- Safe Fleet: Operate a standard, well-maintained 21-seater manual bus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Transporting children safely between schools, the Tweed Heads PCYC Club, and local excursions.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining transport logs.
- Ensuring the bus remains clean, safe, and roadworthy.
- Providing a calm, qualified, and reliable presence for our students.
Essential Criteria:
- Licence: Valid NSW Light Rigid (LR) Driver’s Licence (ability to drive a manual 21-seater bus).
- Accreditation: Current Bus Driver Authority (BDA) from Transport for NSW.
- Safety Checks: Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a recent National Police Check (issued within 6 months).
- Training: Completion of Child Safe Foundations Training (can be completed on line here; Child Safe Foundations Training, before interview).
- Skills: Strong understanding of road safety, excellent time management, and a deep commitment to child-safe practices.
Desirable Criteria:
- Prior experience driving buses within the children's services or school sector.
- Knowledge of child protection responsibilities.
- Current First Aid qualification.

Important:
This is a Child-Related position under NSW Child Protection laws. You must provide a valid Working with Children Check number.
