Kookaburra Korner Early Education Centre is a well established, community-based, not-for-profit service with strong reputation for providing high-quality education and care. We are seeking an experiences and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team and paly a key role within our pre-school program.

About the Role

We are looking for an educator who brings both experience and a genuine passion for supporting all children to thrive. This position is ideal for someone who values meaningful relationship, inclusive practices, and creating engaging learning environments where every child feels a sense of belonging.

Diploma in Early Education and Care (or ACEACQA approved equivalent)

Minimum5 years' experience working in a preschool-aged room

Current Working With Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

What We're Looking For

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Extensive experience working with children aged 3-5 years





A significant interest in and understanding of Neurodiversity and neurodivergent behaviours

Proven ability to support children with diverse learning, sensory, communication and behavioural needs

Experience implementing inclusive practices and working collaboratively with families and allied health professionals

Strong skills in behaviour guidance and co-regulation strategies

The ability to build respectful and responsive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A position, reflective and proactive approach to professional practice
