Business Development Manager

About the role

As our next Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and delivering tailored material handling solutions to customers across a broad range of industries.

You will:

- Drive sales growth by aligning customer needs with Caterpillar Lift Trucks
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the material handling industry




- Build on existing networks while proactively developing new lead sources and customer connections
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while consistently winning new business
- Deliver results in line with budget and business objectives
- Represent United as a trusted, professional provider of material handling solutions across diverse industries

What we're looking for

We're looking for a motivated, proactive, and commercially astute professional who knows how to create opportunities and close deals.

You will bring:

- Previous experience in an external customer facing sales role
- Strong sales and business development capability, ideally within capital equipment sales
- A proven track record of generating leads and actively pursuing opportunities
- A self-driven, results-focused approach with a strong work ethic
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
- Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and computer literacy
