Bang Bang Byron Bay Restaurant is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Casual Team Leader to join our front-of-house team.

We're seeking someone who is passionate about hospitality, leads by example, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. About the role

- 3–5 shifts per week (approximately 20+ hours, with additional hours available during busy periods)
- Casual Level 3 position (the successful applicant may commence as a Waitstaff Level 2 depending on experience)

What we're looking for

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role
- Several years of front-of-house hospitality experience
- Confident hosting guests and delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train team members while leading by example
- Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
- Calm, efficient, and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards




- Experience handling customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally
- Reliable, punctual, committed, and proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both front and back of house teams
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Current NSW RSA (essential)
- Wine, cocktail, and food knowledge, or a willingness to learn
- Ability to confidently open and/or close the venue independently
- Experience with cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
- Australian working rights
- Intention to stay in the area for at least 8 months. Candidates looking for a long-term opportunity will be viewed favourably.
