We currently have an opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Capri by Fraser Brisbane team. on a full time basis!

The Role

This is an exciting role where you will be able to grow your hotel sales career in both MICE & entertainment segments with a 4.5 star global brand.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales (DOS), this role will play a pivotal role in continuing to develop the hotel brand across key market segments directly related to group business.

Your primary responsibilities include

- Liaise closely with DOS on all major proposals and group enquiries
- Undertake proactive lead generation including but not limited to account management, telemarketing (cold and warm leads), face to face sales appointments, attending networking events during and outside of work hours.
- Accurately report all sales activities in the appointed CRM system and achieve set KPIs




- Maintain up-to-date files to ensure proper co-ordination of sales commitment as well as customer needs
- Have working knowledge of budget targets and work closely with DOS to develop strategies to achieve set targets
- Prepare any other reports required by the DOS.

The successful candidate will be required to possess the following attributes:

- Experience within a hotel sales and/or events department (for example - Sales Coordinator, Sales Executive, Event Executive)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competent in Office365 programs
- Robust time management skills
- Able to work independently
