The Role: Business Development Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is a key role responsible for driving growth, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening customer relationships across the Group’s full range of logistics services.

You will play a pivotal role in executing our Business Development strategy, managing a strong sales pipeline, and delivering against revenue and profitability targets.

We're seeking an up-and-coming sales professional with 2-5 years of business development experience and a hunger to succeed.





This opportunity is designed for someone early in their career who can bring fresh thinking, new perspectives, and a strong desire to grow. You'll work closely with experienced leaders, take ownership of meaningful opportunities, and have the chance to accelerate your career in a supportive environment.

We're looking for emerging talent with drive, ambition, and a up-to-date approach to business development.

Your responsibilities will include

Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth

Managing and growing relationships with existing clients, including broker portfolios

Developing and executing strategies to achieve sales and gross profit targets

Managing a pipeline of opportunities, from lead generation through to closing

Leading and contributing to proposal and tender processes

Maintaining accurate CRM data and reporting on sales activity and performance

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations

Identifying cross-selling opportunities across the broader business

Building strong industry relationships and staying up to date with market trends

Representing Sadleirs at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings What you’ll need:





Degree qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a business development or sales role

Proven ability to build and manage a successful sales pipeline

Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

Experience in contract negotiation and commercial decision-making

Sound understanding of customer needs and market dynamics

Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems A proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer service What Sadleirs Offers You
