Focus Recruitment are partnering with a leading digital marketplace who are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join their growing new business team.

In this fast-paced, phone-based sales role, you’ll be engaging with tradespeople who are currently on a free trial of the platform, your goal will be to convert them into full, paid members while identifying new opportunities across various market segments.

About You:

You’re

- Target-driven with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Confident communicating and building rapport over the phone
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new systems




- A team player who values collaboration and celebrates collective success
- Familiar with Salesforce CRM (preferred but not essential)

Your Day-to-Day:

- Make a minimum of 70+ calls per day and work towards the call targets
- Convert trial users into full paid members by clearly communicating the platform’s advantages
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Build strong relationships with tradespeople, understanding their business needs and addressing objections
- Accurately update and maintain customer information in Salesforce CRM
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed
- Follow sales scripts and compliance guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality customer interactions
