We are now seeking a Business Intelligence & Applications Analyst to join our I.T. team at our Norwest Office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across SQL development, reporting, data, business applications and practical user support.

Our role The Business Intelligence & Applications Analyst will support, maintain and improve Eden Brae Homes’ reporting and data capability across SQL Server, Tableau, Crystal Reports / CRS, SAP BusinessObjects, data warehouse and cube reporting environments.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work with business users, understand reporting requirements, troubleshoot data issues, support business applications and assist with helpdesk or general I.T. support activities when required.

Key Responsibility

- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot SQL-based reports, queries, views, stored procedures and data outputs.

- Support Tableau reports, dashboards, refreshes, publishing and user reporting requirements.

- Support Crystal Reports / CRS, SAP BusinessObjects and cube-based reporting outputs.

- Assist with data warehouse, ETL, integration and data quality issues.

- Work with internal users to understand report requests and convert them into practical reporting outcomes.

- Support business applications, user issues, system changes,



testing and vendor escalations.

- Assist the I.T. team with application support, helpdesk tickets and general operational support as required.

- Maintain clear documentation for report logic, known issues, support processes and system changes.

Who are we looking for?

A practical, business-focused reporting and applications specialist with:

- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including experience with views, stored procedures and troubleshooting data issues.

- Experience with Tableau report or dashboard development and support.

- Experience with Crystal Reports, CRS and/or SAP BusinessObjects highly regarded.

- Exposure to data warehouse, ETL, cube reporting or dimensional reporting environments.

- Ability to investigate report failures, data discrepancies and application issues through to resolution.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-technical business users.

- A customer-service mindset and willingness to assist with helpdesk, application support and business-user requests.

- Good documentation, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.

- Previous experience in construction, property, home building or a similar operational business environment desirable but not essential.
