We offer a comprehensive range of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 works (Essential Energy Network) being Solar, Engineering and Electrical Distribution Services to the Electrical industry, specialising in Complex Commercial and Industrial projects.

About the role

We are currently looking for a Trade Assistant / Labourer/Operator to join our team in West Ballina.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, motivated person who prides themselves on being efficient and getting the job done.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the electrical industry, in a growing company who offers competitive rates and the opportunity of an apprenticeship and/or training to upskill the right applicant.

Job responsibilities

- Assisting installation of conduits, pits, cables for electrical and NBN in subdivisions and other electrical installations
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of all fleet vehicles




- Assisting trades with other work and tasks required
- Liaising with company managers and other staff

The position is to work locally on the North Coast - depot based in West Ballina.

- Flexibility to jump between tasks
- Willingness to undertake other tasks where required

Skills and experience

- Drivers licence is essential
- HR Licence desirable or willingness to obtain
- White card is essential
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Ability to work around heavy machinery
- Safety conscious
- Self motivation
- Positive & proactive attitude towards staff and tasks
- Accountability
- Robust work ethic with excellent attention to detail
- Fit and well presented
- Mechanically minded
- Ability to follow procedures
- Civil/construction background preferable but not essential
