Who we're looking for?

- Current NSW Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain (with our support).

- Proven experience in retail or property management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.

- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.

- Excellent organisational and administrative ability to manage high-volume tasks and deadlines.

- Familiarity with tenancy systems and compliance processes; Microsoft Office proficiency.

The role

Join Knight Frank's national retail team as a Retail Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations, presentation, and tenant engagement for a portfolio of shopping centres throughout the Newcastle, Port Stephens and Hunter region.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of daily retail and tenancy management across multiple centres, ensuring compliance and presentation standards.

- Act as the primary contact for tenants, resolving queries promptly and building strong relationships.

- Coordinate lease administration, compliance tasks (insurances, bank guarantees), and maintain accurate records.

- Monitor rental and control arrears,



including issuing arrears letters to tenants

- Support marketing initiatives, retailer engagement, and trading analysis to drive performance.

- Assist in co-ordinating casual mall leasing activities

- Partner with facilities and portfolio managers to deliver seamless operations and meet KPIs.
