About the role

Johnny Lewer Smash Repairs is seeking a mature dedicated Car Cleaner / Maintenance Person to join our team in Mandurah, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the presentation and condition of our vehicles. As a Car Cleaner / Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards of cleanliness and are properly maintained, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the professional reputation of our business.

What you'll be doing

- Performing thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, washing and detailing

- Automotive knowledge preferred
- Inspecting vehicles for any damage or maintenance issues and reporting findings to management
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Organising and managing cleaning supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock levels
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area and workshop environment
- Following health and safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, detailing or a related maintenance role (preferred but not essential)
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in various weather conditions
- Reliability and punctuality,



with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance principles
- A valid driver's licence
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the automotive industry
