Hon. Ann Leahy, Member for Warrego, is seeking an enthusiastic Part‑time permanent Assistant Electorate Officer for the Roma Office working each week on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to community engagement and provide quality administrative support.

Please note that the salary range listed is the Full‑Time equivalent. Salary will be pro‑rated for part time hours.

Key Objectives

- Provide flexible, reliable administrative support within the Roma Electorate Office.
- Assist with constituent engagement, enquiries and office operations.
- Support communications written and verbal.





Your Role

- Assist with responding to constituent enquiries in person, by phone, via qualified letter and/or email.
- Contribute to drafting a variety of professional correspondence and preparing written materials.
- Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing and record management.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work flexibly with changing tasks and priorities.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a small team.
