Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist who has thrived in a busy GP or specialist practice. Please note that only candidates with direct and relevant medical reception experience will be considered for this role. If you do not have this background, we encourage you to look out for future opportunities with us when the requirements may better suit your experience.
This role is more than just front desk work. We're also looking for someone with a flair for social media and marketing who can help us grow and shape our online presence alongside their day-to-day reception duties.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have solid experience as a Medical Receptionist in a fast-paced GP or specialist setting
- Are warm, patient, and genuinely caring with patients and their families, especially during difficult moments
- Can juggle competing priorities without breaking a sweat
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do
- Have familiarity with medical software such as Best Practice, HotDoc, Halaxy, or Cliniko (a big bonus!)
- Understand private billing,
Medicare, and WorkCover, or are keen to learn
- Show up, get things done, and treat every patient and team member with respect
- Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
