About the Role:

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse with a talent for teaching and a heart for mentorship? SummitCare is looking for a Nurse Facilitator to lead the career development of our newest team members on a 3-day-per-week schedule .

Key Responsibilities

Graduate Program Leadership: Design and deliver comprehensive orientation and ongoing education specifically for New Graduate Registered Nurses.

Clinical Coaching: Conduct regular clinical rounds to provide on-the-spot coaching and facilitate practical workshops (Infection Control, Wound Care, etc.).

Digital Education Management: Utilise Ausmed to assign, track, and report on mandatory training and professional development.

Competency Oversight: Coordinate annual assessments and manage systems to document and maintain nursing staff competencies.

Quality Improvement:



Collaborate with management to identify practice trends and integrate Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) into our standards of care.

What You Bring to the Team

Registration: Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) registration.

Experience: 3–5 years of clinical experience in Aged or Acute Care. Previous experience in a similar Nurse Educator or Clinical Facilitator role is highly regarded.

Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or similar is essential.

Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Suite/Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience with Ausmed is a plus.

The Mentor Mindset: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and inspire staff at all levels.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and adult learning principles.
