Qualified Electrician – Commercial & Industrial

Amped Innovations is looking for another experienced Qualified Electrician to join our team.

We’re a Redlands-based business delivering electrical services across industrial and commercial sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Our work includes projects and maintenance at major locations such as the Port of Brisbane, Brisbane Airport, and key industrial precincts.

Our crew is tight-knit, hands-on, and takes pride in doing the job properly. We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and confident in their ability — someone who can take ownership of their work and contribute to the team.

About the role





You’ll be working across a mix of service, maintenance, and project work, including:

- Installation, maintenance, and upgrades
- Fault finding and breakdown work
- Work across sites including Brisbane Airport, Port of Brisbane, Gold Coast industrial areas and surrounding suburbs
- Working on machinery in manufacturing, recycling, and processing industries
- Troubleshooting VSDs, 3-phase equipment, and control systems
- PLC and instrumentation wiring, fault finding and upgrades
- Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What we’re looking for

- QLD Electrical Licence
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial environments
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Solid understanding of WHS practices

Highly regarded (but not essential):

- Experience with PLC and instrumentation wiring
- EWP (over 11m)
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
