Permanent Part Time position (approximately 30-38hours per week)

Are you passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences? Green Island Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team in one of Australia's most iconic island destinations.

As the face of the resort, you will provide exceptional service to day visitors and overnight guests while supporting front office and porter functions.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay.

Provide information on resort facilities, activities, and services.

Coordinate guest bookings, reservations, and special requests.

Assist with luggage transfers and vessel arrivals/departures.

Resolve guest enquiries and concerns professionally.

Maintain high presentation standards across guest-facing areas.

Support protected and efficient resort operations.

About You

You are friendly, professional, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. You take pride in delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive guest experiences.

Previous customer service experience, hotel reception preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Be willing and able to work a rotating roster, that will include weekends and public holidays.

Be willing and able to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran,



plus stay overnight on the island for up to 2 nights per week.
