HealthShareNSWisseekingmotivatedandcompassionatePatientTransportOfficerstojoinourteamandplayavitalroleinsupportingpatientcareacrosstheNSWHealthsystem.Inthisrole,youwillberesponsibleforthesafetransferandtransportofpatientsinavarietyofenvironments,oftenoutsidehospitalsettings,ensuringdignity,comfort,andsafetyatalltimes.Youwilldrivepatienttransportvehicles,assistwithmanualhandlingandmovementofpatients,maintainaccuratedocumentation,andensurevehiclesandequipmentareclean,roadworthy,andwellstocked.Thispositionrequiresastrongcommitmenttocustomerservice,professionalism,andthevaluesofNSWHealth.

Tobesuccessful,youwillholdacurrentSeniorFirstAidCertificate,aWorkingWithChildrenCheck(paidwork),andanunrestrictedNSWManualLightRigidDriverLicence withanexcellentdrivinghistory.Youwilldemonstratestrongmanualhandlingcapability,effectivecommunicationandbasicliteracyskills,andtheabilitytoworkaseven-dayrotatingroster,includingpublicholidaysandovertimeasrequired.
