About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to lead change management on a large-scale, high-visibility Cyber Security Program for one of Queensland's most significant energy organisations. With a $60M+ investment underway, this program is building fit-for-purpose, risk-based cyber security capability that will protect critical infrastructure and shape how the organisation operates for years to come.

As Change Manager, you won't just be writing plans, you'll be the driving force behind genuine adoption. You'll work alongside the Cyber Program Manager, project leads and business stakeholders to make sure the human side of this transformation lands well, from the boardroom through to frontline teams. If you thrive on translating complex technical change into something people can understand, embrace, and sustain, this role is built for you.

What You'll Be Doing

- Developing and delivering end-to-end change management strategies for the Cyber Security Program
- Building stakeholder engagement, communication, and training/learning plans
- Conducting business readiness, impact, and change risk assessments
- Designing adoption and reinforcement plans to lock in sustainable outcomes
- Facilitating workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations
- Measuring and reporting on organisational readiness, adoption, and change effectiveness




- Influencing and coaching leaders through complex, technical change
- Partnering closely with Program and Project Managers, SMEs, and impacted business areas

What You'll Need (Essential)

- 10+ years' experience delivering organisational change management in large, complex organisations, including within Cyber Security Programs
- Solid working knowledge of cyber security concepts, threats, and controls
- Proven ability to translate technical cyber concepts for non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience applying recognised change frameworks (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, Lean Change Management, or similar)
- Robust stakeholder engagement skills across executive, operational, and technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders through complex change
- Experience facilitating workshops and change impact assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A recognised Change Management certification (Prosci, APMG, or equivalent)

Nice to Have

- Experience delivering change within a Government Owned Corporation (GOC)
- Background in utilities, energy, or other regulated industries
- Demonstrated experience managing change risk and adoption outcomes at scale

- Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience (inc Super)
- Duration: 12-month contract
- Location: Brisbane CBD
