Algester Sports Club is a friendly local Community Club located in south Brisbane with exceptional Lawn Bowl facilities & maintained Greens and modern licensed operations including: 70 EGMs, Bar, Bistro, Café and a large Function room facilities. The Club is seeking experienced Chef to come & join our friendly team on a Full Time, Part Time or Casual basis.

- Must be able to carry a section but learn all areas
- Punctual and skilled
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Able to work autonomously with drive and focus
- Proven experience
- Work well under pressure
- An eye for detail
- Available on weekends and Public Holidays

Requirements:

- Food handler’s Safety Certificate.




- Relevant industry qualifications and experience
- Innovative and passionate about delivery of quality service and food
- Active participation in the development of new menus
- Current knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations
- Correct manual handling techniques and food hygiene are essential
- Personal presentation, hygiene and punctuality is vital
- Preferably have experience in the club/pub industry
- Certificate III or above in Commercial Cookery would be an Advantage
