CHEF

Albarossa Pty Ltd t/a Koorak Cafe is looking for an experienced full-time Chef for their Kings Park venue.

Duties to be performed

- Create and plan menus; • Create and plan specials on regular basis; • Estimate food and labour costs and ordering food supplies; • Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation; • Assume responsibility for the quality of products served, monitoring the taste, visual appeal, financial cost; • Show cooking procedures and make sure they are followed; • Discuss and solve food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff; • Hire, train, manage kitchen staff; • Organize and manage the kitchen staff roster; • Make sure that health and safety standards are maintained in work areas; • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry,



vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment; • Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Skills Required

- Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
- Valuable time management skills and able to work under pressure.

Position: Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 per year Location: 37 Kings Park Rd, Kings Park WA 6005
