We have opportunities for Cert III educators willing to further their studies with a paid on-the-job traineeship, or persons who already hold Diploma level (or working towards ) child care qualifications. You will need to live locally to the centre and have reliable transport. This position will suit someone who has a passion for children’s education and care.

Duties include:

· educating and caring for children between the ages of 0-5yrs

· contributing to the programming

· written reflections on children's activities

· general duties.

· building trusting relationships with children and their families

· giving verbal feedback to parents and guardians about the child’s experiences at the centre.

· Actively maintaining a healthy, safe and supervised space for children to play and learn

· meeting requirements of mandatory reporters and a child safe environment in line with policy and procedure The successful candidate will need:

· to hold a Working with Children Check

· be available to be rostered Mon-Fri between the hours of 7am and 6pm as the needs of the role and the business may require

· Be friendly, and solution orientated





· advocate for a child-safe and hygienic environment following our policies and procedures

· Follow our Child Safe Code of Conduct

· Meet child safe clearance checks and training requirements

Rostered hours are part time to full time depending on the needs of the business and the capabilities of the employee.
