The right individual will be straightforward, willing to tell the Council what they need to hear, and able to look past politics to keep the community’s vision moving forward.
This leader will also help the Council strengthen its long term planning efforts by encouraging and supporting a strategic process that sets clear goals for Sunnyside’s future. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, public policy or a related field, and at least five to ten years of increasingly responsible experience as a senior level government director. A master’s degree or ICMA credentialing is preferred, and being bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
The salary range is $160,000 to $200,000 and the salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
