About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipelayer to join a busy civil construction team delivering subdivision, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects across Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. Working alongside operators and supervisors, you will play a key role in installing underground services safely, accurately, and to exact specifications.

- Minimum Experience: You must have at least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience specifically as a pipelayer within civil construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install stormwater pipelines to precise line, level, and project specifications.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pipe lasers for accurate grade/alignment.
- Work safely around trenches and heavy machinery (excavators, skid steers).
- Install pits, manholes, bedding, backfill, and associated civil infrastructure.
- Read construction drawings,



check levels, and complete basic QA paperwork.
- Comply with SWMS & site safety procedure.s

About You

- 5+ years of verified civil pipelaying experience.
- Expert knowledge of stormwater, sewer, and water main installation.
- Confident setting up pipe lasers and directing excavation/lifting.
- Current White Card and valid Driver’s Licence (HR Truck licence is a plus).
- Desirable Tickets: Confined Space, Excavator/Loader/Skid Steer, Spotter, First Aid.

- $45.00 per hour flat rate.
- Consistent full time hours with excellent overtime opportunities.
- Initial 3-month contract with a permanent position available for the right candidate.
